A Chelsea fan is arrested for allegedly making racist remarks regarding Anton Ferdinand.

A man has been arrested as part of the police investigation into Chelsea fans singing racist chants on the train back from Norwich.

The police have been working with Chelsea to track down fans who were reported to have been making racist remarks about QPR player Anton Ferdinand.

Chelsea captain John Terry is currently in the middle of a police enquiry regarding alleged racial abuse of Ferdinand. Chelsea have made it clear that they will not tolerate any racism, especially with the upcoming match against QPR on Saturday.

"We were made aware of the incident on board the 1600 Norwich to London Liverpool Street Service," a Chelsea spokesperson said.

"It is alleged that some individuals were involved in racist chanting.

"British Transport police has contacted the individual concerned who made the allegations and an investigation is ongoing."

Andre Villas-Boas has insisted that Terry will definitely face QPR.
