Brest 1-1 Dijon

Gael Kakuta scores his first goal for Dijon.

A 94th-minute header from Santiago Gentiletti rescued a point for Brest at home to Dijon FCO this evening.

The first half was a scrappy midfield battle, with neither goalkeeper being called upon.

The game looked destined to finish goalless, especially after Brest forward Alex Alphonse was stretched off on the hour.

Gael Kakuta, making his full Dijon debut following his loan switch from Chelsea, broke the deadlock on 76 minutes.

The speedy winger cut inside and struck a powerful right-footed shot, which skidded under Steeva Elana.

Brest were reduced to ten men in stoppage time after Issam Jemaa picked up two yellow cards in a minute.

With time running out, Bruno Grougi delivered a superb whipped free kick and Gentiletti powered home to earn an unlikely point.

Dijon remain three points above the relegation zone following their third consecutive winless game.
