Barcelona defender Dani Alves is encouraging Chelsea's David Luiz to join him in Spain, according to reports.

Barcelona full-back Dani Alves is trying to tempt Chelsea defender David Luiz to move to Spain, according to reports.

The duo are currently on international duty with Brazil at the Confederations Cup, and according to the Daily Star, Alves has taken the opportunity to encourage Luiz to join him at Camp Nou.

It has been reported that new Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho would be open to selling Luiz, despite the former Benfica player being a favourite with supporters at Stamford Bridge.

The 26-year-old has also been linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain.
