Chelsea defender Cesar Azpilicueta has refused to entertain suggestions that he could join Barcelona on a free transfer ahead of the 2022-23 campaign.
The 32-year-old's contract with the Blues is due to expire at the end of June, and Barcelona are believed to be desperate to bring him to Camp Nou in the coming months.
There is allegedly a two-year deal from the Catalan giants on the table, and it is unclear whether Chelsea will be able to keep hold of him due to their off-the-field problems.
However, when asked about the situation during a Spain press conference, the versatile defender said that he was not prepared to discuss his future at this moment in time.
"It's not the right place and the right moment to discuss my future", Azpilicueta told reporters.
The Spaniard has again been a vital player for Chelsea during the 2021-22 campaign, scoring twice and providing three assists in 35 appearances in all competitions.
Azpilicueta is currently with his national side preparing for the upcoming friendlies with Albania and Iceland.
