Bayern Munich are reportedly interested in signing Tottenham Hotspur defender Eric Dier.
The 29-year-old faces an uncertain future in North London after falling down the pecking order under Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou.
Summer signing Micky van de Ven has formed a strong central defensive partnership with Cristian Romero, which has ultimately had a negative impact on Dier's playing time.
Dier, who has only been included in three matchday squads this season, is still waiting to make his first appearance of the campaign.
With less than 12 months remaining on his Tottenham deal, there is a possibility that he could leave the club in January.

According to Bild, Bayern have identified the Spurs defender as a potential target for the winter transfer window.
Although Bayern boss Thomas Tuchel can call upon the likes of Kim Min-jae, Matthijs De Ligt and Dayot Upamecano, he is keen to add to his defensive options.
Chelsea centre-back Trevoh Chalobah remains one of their top targets after they failed to get a deal over the line in the summer.
However, with Bayern also in need of a new defensive midfielder, they are reluctant to splash out a significant fee on Chalobah, who is reportedly valued at around €30m (£26.1m).

With the Bayern hierarchy unsure whether to pursue a deal for Chalobah, they are considering Dier as an alternative option.
While it remains to be seen whether Spurs allow him to depart in the winter, he will be able to start negotiating pre-contract agreements with foreign clubs from January.
A move to the German champions would see Dier reunite with his former Spurs teammate Harry Kane, who swapped North London for Bavaria during the summer.
In addition to Dier, Bayern are also keeping tabs on AC Milan centre-back Pierre Kalulu, who is under contract until the summer of 2027.
