Chelsea's proposed move for Rennes goalkeeper Edouard Mendy is "100% done", according to a report.
The Blues are understood to have agreed personal terms with the shot-stopper earlier this weekend, with Mendy set to sign a five-year deal at Stamford Bridge.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano claims that Rennes have now accepted a formal offer from Chelsea too, paving the way for the 28-year-old to join the Premier League club.
Mendy is reportedly due to arrive in London in the coming hours to complete his medical, with official confirmation expected later today or tomorrow.
Romano also claims that Chelsea will then switch their attention to signing West Ham United's Declan Rice, although they are unwilling to meet the Hammers' £74m asking price for the England international.
Mendy's arrival is expected to set Chelsea back around £20m, taking their spending for the summer to more than £220m following the arrivals of Hakim Ziyech, Timo Werner, Ben Chilwell, Kai Havertz, Xavier Mbuyamba, Thiago Silva and Malang Sarr.
