Chelsea 'keen to keep Leicester City target Loic Remy'

Leicester City's hopes of signing Loic Remy suffer a setback as Chelsea are reportedly now keen to keep the striker.

Leicester City's hopes of signing Loic Remy before the end of the transfer window have reportedly taken a blow as Chelsea are now keen to keep the striker.

Interim boss Guus Hiddink was initially thought to be open to the idea of Remy leaving the club after bringing in Alexandre Pato on loan on Friday.

That alerted Leicester to his potential availability, with the Foxes eager to bring in a striker on deadline day and talks over Ahmed Musa stalling due to CSKA Moscow's asking price.

However, Remy is understood to be keen to fight for his place at Stamford Bridge, while Sky Sports News also reports that the club now want to keep him in West London too.

Chelsea could see Radamel Falcao leave the club on deadline day, however, after reports emerged linking him with a surprise return to Atletico Madrid.
