Tammy Abraham and Kurt Zouma will be made to stay at Chelsea next season and fight for their places should the Blues' transfer ban be upheld, according to a report.

Chelsea reportedly plan to keep Tammy Abraham and Kurt Zouma at Stamford Bridge should their transfer ban remain in place.

The Blues are waiting to see if they will be allowed to add to their squad in the summer, having taken their FIFA-imposed sanction to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

The Sun claims that Chelsea are preparing for the worst, which would prevent them bringing in new recruits across the next two transfer windows, and they intend to tell Abraham and Zouma that they must stay and fight for their places.

Abraham has impressed in the second tier with Aston Villa this term by scoring 26 times, earning links with a full-time switch to Villa Park should they overcome Derby County in the playoff final, while German side RB Leipzig are also rumoured to have showed an interest in the England international.

Zouma has performed well in his season at Premier League rivals Everton and would be open to a permanent move away, meanwhile, but the report indicates that Chelsea will not grant him his wish.
