Chelsea 'to demand £53m if Borussia Dortmund try to sign Michy Batshuayi'

Chelsea will reportedly demand £53m from Borussia Dortmund for the sale of Michy Batshuayi.

Chelsea have reportedly slapped a £53m price tag on Michy Batshuayi's head.

The Belgian international is currently on loan at Borussia Dortmund, where he has impressed since making the move in January.

In total, the 24-year-old has scored seven goals in nine matches for the German outfit, which has prompted reports that the club will try to sign the striker permanently when the season comes to an end.

If they attempt to do so, though, Bild reports that Chelsea will ask for a £53m fee, which is around £22m more than what the Premier League club paid for him in 2016.

Batshuayi struggled to hold down a regular spot since his move to Stamford Bridge, starting just four Premier League games in total.
