Billy Clifford makes Chelsea return

Chelsea youngster Billy Clifford returns to the club after cutting short his six-month loan spell with Yeovil Town.

Chelsea midfielder Billy Clifford has returned to the club after cutting short his loan spell with Yeovil Town.

The 20-year-old joined the Championship side on a six-month deal in July.

"I'd like to thank Billy for his time with us at Yeovil and wish him all the best for the rest of his career," Yeovil boss Gary Johnson told the club's official website.

Clifford signed his first professional contract with Chelsea in 2010 but is yet to make a first-team appearance for the Blues.
