Borussia Dortmund reportedly consider a summer move for unsettled Chelsea forward Alvaro Morata.

Borussia Dortmund are reportedly considering a summer move for Chelsea forward Alvaro Morata.

Dortmund sold Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to Arsenal in the early stages of 2018, but did manage to secure the services of Chelsea forward Michy Batshuayi on loan.

Batshuayi scored seven times in 10 Bundesliga appearances for Dortmund in the second half of the 2017-18 season, but the Belgian is due to return to his parent club this summer.

According to Bild, Dortmund are planning a surprise move for Batshuayi's Blues teammate Morata, who could leave Stamford Bridge this summer after struggling during his first year in English football.

The 25-year-old, who has also been linked with a return to Juventus, has scored 15 times for Chelsea this term, but his performances in the second half of the campaign have been widely criticised and his future is said to be unclear.
