Didier Drogba is reportedly close to agreeing a move Chinese club Shanghai Shenhua.
The 34-year-old, who is out of contract at Stamford Bridge next month, is due to hold formal talks with Blues bosses later this week.
However, the club are aware that Drogba wants to join up with former teammate Nicolas Anelka in the Far East and they expect him to sign a £250,000-per-week tax-free contract with the Chinese side this summer, according to the Daily Mail.
Drogba has scored exactly 100 Premier League goals during his eight-year spell in England.
