Everton manager Frank Lampard has reportedly registered an interest in signing Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher.
Former Blues boss Lampard arrived at Goodison Park on deadline day, wasting no time in signing Donny van de Beek and Dele Alli from Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur respectively.
However, should the Toffees avoid relegation from the Premier League, the Englishman will likely be backed in the summer transfer market.
According to TEAMtalk, Lampard has told Chelsea that he would like to sign Gallagher if the player becomes available for 2022-23.
Thomas Tuchel allegedly has every intention of involving the 22-year-old in his first-team plans at Stamford Bridge next season.
Nevertheless, it is claimed that Lampard wants Everton to be regarded as first choice if Gallagher is allowed to spend another campaign away from West London.
The England international has excelled during a loan spell at Crystal Palace this campaign, contributing seven goals and three assists from his 21 starts in the top flight.
