With each passing gameweek in the 2024-25 Turkish Super Lig, Adana Demirspor's hopes of avoiding relegation continue to fade, and the league's bottom side will look to keep their survival dreams alive when they host Kasimpasa at the New Adana Stadium on Sunday.
The hosts enter the weekend on the back of four consecutive league defeats and sit 17 points adrift of safety, leaving them with a slim chance of staying up.

A three-point deduction imposed by the TFF licensing board due to administrative shortcomings means Adana have just five points, despite recording two wins and two draws after 20 matches.
This setback encapsulates their dismal campaign, with nine of their 16 defeats coming by a single-goal margin, including a 3-2 loss to Caykur Rizespor last time out.
In a decision that angered fans, Mustafa Dalci was dismissed after the loss despite overseeing both of the club's league victories during his two-month spell in charge, and once again, Adana will be led by a caretaker manager, their fifth different coach in what has been a chaotic season.
Recent meetings have not favoured Adana, with two defeats and a draw in their last three clashes against Kasimpasa, although they managed a point in the reverse fixture back in August.

Meanwhile, Kasimpasa will be eager to build on their recent victory and pile more misery on their struggling hosts to increase their own survival chances.
The Apaches edged Hatayspor 5-4 in a dramatic encounter last time out, extending their cushion over the relegation zone to nine points.
However, in a shocking move, the club sacked head coach Hakan Keles after the game, replacing him with former Kayserispor boss Burak Yilmaz.
Yilmaz will be encouraged by Kasimpasa's strong away record, with the visitors ranking fifth in the away table and sharing the league's most away draws (6) with Besiktas.

Adana Demirspor will be without Maestro, who is suspended after scoring a stunning goal against Rizespor, while Yusuf Barasi is also suspended.
Breyton Fougeu, Tayfun Aydogan, Andrew Gravillon and Salih Kavrazli are sidelined through injury – however, Izzet Celik returns from suspension and is expected to start.
For Kasimpasa, Kevin Rodrigues is injured, meaning Mortadha Ben Ouanes should start at left-back.
Gokhan Gul is also sidelined, which could see Antonin Barak come into the side for this clash.
Adana Demirspor possible starting lineup:
Donmezer; Guler, Kalender, Manev; Kurtulan, Shehu, Celik, Burak; Kol, Aymbetov, Alioui
Kasimpasa possible starting lineup:
Gianniotis; Winck, Opoku, Ciftpinar, Ouanes; Barak, Kara, Hajradinovic; Costa, Fall, Brekalo
We say: Adana Demirspor 1-2 Kasimpasa
Adana Demirspor's struggles look set to continue, with their leaky defence and managerial instability proving costly.
Kasimpasa, buoyed by their recent win, should have enough quality to edge this contest, which is why we are predicting a narrow victory for the visitors.
