Leicester City 'leading Chelsea in race for Said Benrahma'

Leicester City are ahead of Chelsea in the race to sign Brentford attacker Said Benrahma, according to a report.

Leicester City are reportedly ahead of Chelsea in the race to sign Brentford attacker Said Benrahma during this summer's transfer window.

The 24-year-old has enjoyed another impressive season for the Bees, scoring 10 times and contributing eight assists in 34 appearances in all competitions.

Chelsea are believed to have identified the Algeria international as a target ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.

However, according to The Express, Leicester are at the head of the queue for the attacker, who is high on the wishlist of Foxes boss Brendan Rodgers during this summer's transfer window.

The report claims that Brentford value Benrahma in the region of £25m as he still has two years left to run on his contract with the Championship outfit.

Arsenal have also previously been credited with an interest.
