Monaco sign ex-Chelsea defender Jose Bosingwa

AS Monaco sign Jose Bosingwa on a free transfer to a three-year contract.

AS Monaco have completed the signing of ex-Chelsea defender Jose Bosingwa on a free transfer, according to reports.

The French second division club have secured the former Portuguese international on a three-year deal.

The 29-year-old is a two-time Champions League winner who spent four years at Stamford Bridge.

Bosingwa left Chelsea on a high by playing at centre-back in the Champions League final win against Bayern Munich.

Bosingwa will be managed at Monaco by another name familiar to Chelsea fans - former Blues boss Claudio Ranieri.
