Report: Chelsea agree Filipe Luis fee

Chelsea reportedly meet the release clause in Filipe Luis's Atletico Madrid contract to bring the defender to Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea have reportedly agreed a €25m (£19.9m) transfer fee to sign Filipe Luis from Atletico Madrid.

The Brazilian's agent confirmed that he was in talks over a move to Stamford Bridge last month.

According to Sky Sport Italia journalist Gianluca di Marzio, the defender will join Chelsea after they agreed to pay his release clause.

Luis joined the Spanish champions in 2010, making 127 appearances for the club since then.
