A report claims that Chelsea want to sign Hoffenheim defender Niklas Sule in the January transfer window.

Chelsea will reportedly rekindle their interest in Hoffenheim defender Niklas Sule in the January transfer window.

Blues boss Antonio Conte is expected to move for a new centre-back at the start of 2017 and has already been linked with the likes of Burnley's Michael Keane and Roma's Antonio Rudiger.

Earlier this season, Sule's agent Karlheinz Forster claimed that Chelsea wanted to sign his client in the summer and according to ESPN, the Premier League club will make a bid in the winter window.

Sule, 21, was not part of the Germany squad that reached the final of Euro 2016, but has since made his international debut for the world champions.
