Report: Emmanuel Emenike offered to Chelsea for £15m

Chelsea are reportedly offered Fenerbahce striker Emmanuel Emenike for £15m.

Fenerbahce striker Emmanuel Emenike has reportedly been offered to Chelsea in a deal which could be worth as much as £15m.

The 27-year-old scored 12 goals for Fenerbahce last season as they were crowned champions of Turkey, and his performances for Nigeria at the World Cup are also believed to have attracted a number of teams.

According to the Daily Mail, Fenerbahce would be willing to begin negotiations over the possible sale of the forward in the summer transfer window.

Chelsea are expected to confirm the signing of Diego Costa in the near future, but Jose Mourinho could be tempted to recruit Emenike after criticising his strikers on a number of occasions last season.

Emenike's participation in the World Cup ended on Monday as Nigeria suffered a 2-0 defeat to France in the last 16.
