Juventus have reportedly identified Chelsea midfielder Ramires as the perfect candidate to strengthen their squad before the end of the transfer window.
The Brazilian quickly fell down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge last season following the arrival of Cesc Fabregas, and with the likes of John Obi Mikel and Ruben Loftus-Cheek also battling for spots in the centre of midfield, opportunities appear to be limited.
According to the Evening Standard, Juventus have made an enquiry about the 28-year-old's availability but it remains unclear whether Jose Mourinho is willing to allow him to leave this summer.
Juventus responded to the departures of Arturo Vidal and Andrea Pirlo by signing Sami Khedira earlier in the window, but with the German now facing a spell on the sidelines, the report suggests that the Italian champions are hopeful of securing Ramires on loan or permanently.
Ramires currently has two years remaining on his contract.
