Chelsea youngsters John Swift and Alex Kiwomya head out on loan spells with League One sides Swindon Town and Barnsley respectively.

Chelsea youngsters John Swift and Alex Kiwomya have both headed out on loan spells with sides in League One.

Kiwomya, who has won two FA Youth Cups and the Under-21 league title with the Blues, is going out on loan for the first time, with the 18-year-old joining up with Barnsley for the next month.

His teammate, who had a stint with Rotherham United earlier in the season, joins Swindon Town for the remainder of the campaign.

Swift made his Premier League debut for Chelsea on the final day of last season against Cardiff City.
