Francesco Totti has reportedly been in contact with Roma and AC Milan to discuss a potential move for Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger before the end of the transfer window.
Rudiger is surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge and is expected to leave Frank Lampard's side before Monday's deadline.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Roma legend Totti, who now works as an agent, has been in touch with his former club to discuss a possible loan move for the Germany international.
The report, meanwhile, claims that Milan's technical director Paolo Maldini has also been contacted to determine whether the Italian giants would be interested in signing the 27-year-old.
Rudiger, who has not been involved for Chelsea since their first game of the new Premier League season, is said to be keen on a move to Tottenham Hotspur.
Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Milan have also been mentioned as potential suitors.
