Lowly Coventry City put an end to Cardiff's winning run by claiming a point at the Ricoh Arena this evening.
Malky Mackay's remain unbeaten in their last seven and have moved into the Championship's top three with the draw.
Bluebirds top scorer Peter Whittingham put the visitors ahead in the 48th minute, collecting the ball on the edge of the area and drilling low past Joe Murphy.
The lead only lasted 13 minutes as Whittingham's top scoring counterpart for the Sky Blues, striker Lukas Jutkiewicz, headed home from a Chris Hussey cross to level the scores.
Both sides pushed for a winner but were unable to claim all three points for themselves.
Andy Thorn's Coventry move ahead of Doncaster by a point but remain in the heart of the bottom three in 23rd.
