Crawley Town bring in strike pair Lee Barnard, Roarie Deacon

Crawley Town bring in strike pair Lee Barnard and Roarie Deacon on one-year contracts.

Crawley Town have signed strikers Lee Barnard and Roarie Deacon on one-year deals.

Barnard, 31, left Southend United earlier this summer, while 23-year-old Deacon departed Stevenage.

The duo had been training with the League Two club before penning their contracts.

"They have been on our radar since day one and fair play to the club for allowing us to bring them in," Crawley boss Mark Yates told BBC Sport. "Credit to Lee and Roarie. They have stuck at it and kept coming in."

Crawley start the new season with a trip to Oxford United on August 8.
