Joe Ledley to miss FA Cup final, Euro 2016?

Crystal Palace and Wales midfielder Joe Ledley is reportedly ruled out of the FA Cup final and Euro 2016 after suffering a fractured leg.

Crystal Palace and Wales midfielder Joe Ledley has reportedly suffered a fracture to his leg, resulting in his absence from the FA Cup final and Euro 2016.

Ledley had been brought on as a half-time substitute during Palace's 2-1 victory over Stoke City last weekend but he lasted just 11 minutes after suffering an injury soon after his introduction.

It was initially believed that the 29-year-old had sustained damage to his Achilles but according to The Times, the versatile left-footed player has suffered a minor fracture to his leg.

If the news is confirmed, it will come as a huge blow to the player, his club and his nation, with Ledley playing three games during Palace's run to the FA Cup final and featuring regularly for Wales as they reached the finals of a major tournament for the first time since 1958.

On Monday, Ledley had been named in Wales's pre-Euro 2016 training squad which is scheduled to travel to Portugal ahead of the competition.
