Crystal Palace's Jordon Mutch out until April?

A thigh injury is expected to keep Crystal Palace midfielder Jordon Mutch on the sidelines until the start of April.

Crystal Palace midfielder Jordon Mutch may not play again this month because of a thigh strain.

The £5m January signing from Queens Park Rangers limped off in the 3-1 victory at West Ham United and missed the 1-0 defeat to Southampton a week ago.

He will not be available for Palace's clash with his former club on Saturday and is also expected to sit out the trip to Stoke City at the end of March.

Mutch has made four appearances for the Eagles, who are 12th in the Premier League table, since his winter switch to Selhurst Park.

A suspension to captain Mile Jedinak means that Alan Pardew will likely go with James McArthur and Joe Ledley as his midfield pairing against Rangers.
