After a goalless first-half the Eagles took the lead 17 minutes from time when Darren Ambrose slid home to convert John Williams's centre.
The victory was sealed by striker Jermaine Easter from the spot after Dan Harding brought down Williams in the box.
The quarter-final draw takes place on Saturday.
