Preview: Derby County vs. Barnsley

Sports Mole previews Tuesday's Championship fixture between Derby County and Barnsley.

Barnsley go into Tuesday's Championship encounter at Derby County in desperate need of some points.

The Tykes have lost five of their last six matches in the league and currently sit just three points above the relegation zone.

In contrast, Derby are just three points off the playoff places following two wins and three draws from their last six.

Rams manager Nigel Clough is likely to stick with much of the same side that comfortably beat Blackpool 4-1 on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Barnsley could start top scorer Craig Davies despite questions over his match fitness. James McNulty and Jim O'Brien are expected to continue their spell on the sidelines through injury.

Recent form:

Derby: DDDWLW

Barnsley: LLLWDLL

Possible lineups:

Derby: Legzdins; Brayford, Roberts, Keogh, O'Connor; Bryson, Coutts, Hendrick, Hughes; Robinson, Sammon

Barnsley: Steele; Golbourne, Foster, Wiseman, Cranie; Stones, Dawson, Done, Perkins; Davies, Etuhu

Sports Mole says: 2-0
