Derby County have reached an agreement with Burnley for the transfer of Jason Shackell.
The 31-year-old defender has signed a three-year contract for an undisclosed fee.
Shackell returns to the Rams three years after leaving the club for Burnley.
"Derby County made an offer that was so large he found he couldn't refuse it," Clarets boss Sean Dyche told the club's official website.
"Outside the Premier League there are still some clubs throwing enormous amounts of money at the situation, and Derby are one of those clubs.
"His motivation was to go there for the contract that was on offer."
Shackell started every Premier League game for Burnley last season as they were relegated back to the Championship.
