New Dundee United signing Darko Bodul has insisted that he is looking to rediscover his best form after enduring a disappointing spell at Ajax.
The 26-year-old striker was mentored by the likes of Marco van Basten and Dennis Bergkamp in the Netherlands, but recently agreed a two-year deal at United after impressing Jackie McNamara during the club's pre-season tour.
"My goal is to come here, score goals and make a bigger step," said Bodul, according to the Daily Mail.
"I am 26-years-old and I believe in my quality, this team and this club.
"I want to do well here and reach the top. I had chances when I was younger. I was with one of the biggest clubs in Europe but it didn't work out the way I wanted."
Before joining Ajax, Bodul spent part of his youth career at Heerenveen.
