Dundee manager Paul Hartley has admitted that his side did not deserve to take anything from their Scottish Cup clash with Celtic, which they lost 2-0.
The Dark Blues boss conceded that many of his players did not perform during the match, with only the good form of goalkeeper Scott Bain keeping the scoreline down.
"We didn't perform today. We were second best, we are not going to dress it up. We just didn't play well," Sky Sports News quotes Hartley as saying.
"The 'keeper has been like that in the games he has played. He is a top young goalkeeper and he kept the score line down but too many players had an off-day."
Goals from Leigh Griffiths and Stefan Johansen fired the Hoops into the last eight of the competition.
