Former striker Sue Smith believes that England are good enough to win the Women's World Cup.
The Lionesses booked their place in the last four with a tense 2-1 win over hosts Canada, thanks to first-half goals from Jodie Taylor and Lucy Bronze, and Smith thinks that they are inspiring people back home
She told BBC Sport: "This is absolutely amazing for England. For women's football back home in England, this is such an achievement. This group of girls have the ability to go all the way. We've said that.
"The game against France wasn't their best performance. Since then they have got better and better. They have got strength in depth and players who come on and do the business. I'm so pleased for these girls."
England will meet Japan in the last four.
