Newly-appointed England boss Roy Hodgson has insisted that he will hold talks with defensive duo Rio Ferdinand and John Terry over their Euro 2012 involvement.
The pair's relationship seems to have broken following Terry's alleged racist remarks to Ferdinand's brother and Queens Park Rangers defender Anton, with Hodgson refusing to reveal whether the pair will be involved this summer.
"I think the important thing is for me to speak to as many people as possible and John and Rio will be two I need to speak to," Hodgson told reporters.
Hodgson also commented on the captaincy issue, saying: "That's another issue that we'll have to carefully think about. In the days ahead, it will be one of the things that I will have to look at."
Hodgson will take charge of West Bromwich Albion's final two games of the season.
