Stuart Pearce has admitted to 'tinkering' with Fabio Capello's plans for Euro 2012.
The former England and Nottingham Forest defender said that he has changed Capello's plans for pre-tournament training.
"I've put some plans into place," Pearce said. "Fabio had most of the planning and training camp in Marbella put into place and I've tinkered with that slightly.
"I've made my recommendations to the FA in regard to our preparation time, where it might be.
"I had to do that, not just because of the possibility I might take over in the summer, but for the next man in the door."
Pearce was named as interim England manager after Capello resigned earlier this month.
