England matchwinner Danny Welbeck has praised the strong team spirit within the Three Lions squad following their dramatic 3-2 win over Sweden.
The Manchester United forward struck the decisive goal 12 minutes from time to give England their first ever competitive win over the Swedes.
England had led at half time, courtesy of an Andy Carroll header. However, two Olof Mellberg goals from set pieces turned the game on its head before Theo Walcott levelled and Welbeck won it.
"I'm obviously happy with the finish and the three points, but disappointed with the way we started the second half," said Welbeck.
"It was a game of two halves but we stuck together and the team spirit showed."
England are now second in Group D and require a point from their final match against Ukraine in order to reach the quarter-finals of Euro 2012.
