England midfielder Steven Gerrard has admitted that he and his teammates must perform during their final two World Cup qualifying matches.
Victories against Montenegro and Poland would see England qualify for next summer's World Cup in Brazil, and Gerrard has acknowledged that the team are at a "critical stage" in the group.
The 33-year-old told reporters: "These are right up there with all of the games that I have played for England.
"We are at a critical stage of the qualifying campaign, and it's up to me and the players to deliver in what are two very important games."
Gerrard will be earning his 106th cap when he starts against Montenegro at Wembley on Friday evening.
