A report suggests that Porto manager Vitor Pereira is a leading contender to replace David Moyes at Everton.

Everton chairman Bill Kenwright has reportedly identified Porto coach Vitor Pereira as the ideal candidate to replace David Moyes, should the Scottish manager leave the club this summer.

Moyes's current deal at Goodison Park is due to expire at the end of the season and several reports have claimed that after 11 years at the helm, the 49-year-old is keen to take on a new challenge.

Should Moyes prove that speculation to be correct, Kenwright has a list of potential replacements drawn up, which includes Pereira, according to Goal.com.

The report went on to claim that Pereira, who took over from Andre Villas-Boas at Porto in 2011, was a guest of Everton's for a match at Goodison over the Christmas period.

Wigan Athletic manager Roberto Martinez is also thought to be under consideration.
