Everton manager Roberto Martinez has stated that he is 'proud' of the professionalism shown by Marouane Fellaini and Leighton Baines following Manchester United's bid for the pair.
David Moyes, who is keen to bring his former players to Old Trafford before the window slams shut, fronted a rejected £28m joint bid for the pair.
"I couldn't be prouder of their professionalism and the way they've been behaving," Martinez said in a press conference.
"They're two great assets of the football club and they understand that this is a vital time for us. All they are focused on is being the best as they can for us on the pitch."
The Spaniard revealed today that there has been no fresh approach from United for the duo.
