Manchester United manager David Moyes is reportedly considering a move for Southampton left-back Luke Shaw, if the club fail to sign Everton's Leighton Baines.
The Scotsman has fronted a £28m joint bid for his former Everton stars, Baines and Marouane Fellaini, which was swiftly rejected by the Merseyside outfit.
While reports have claimed that United will improve their offer for the pair, the Premier League champions could make a move for £10m-rated Shaw if they fail in their new attempt to sign Baines, according to The Express.
Eighteen-year-old Shaw penned a fresh five-year contract at St Mary's earlier this summer.
