David Moyes coy over potential Everton return

David Moyes suggests that he is "open-minded" regarding a potential return to Everton after the Toffees parted company with Roberto Martinez.

David Moyes has said that he is "open-minded" to many jobs after he was touted as a potential replacement for Roberto Martinez at Everton.

The Spaniard was removed from his position in the dugout after a disappointing season at Goodison Park, and his departure has resulted in a number of men being linked with the role.

Moyes has been out of work since leaving Real Sociedad, but the Scot has suggested that he would be open to a return to Merseyside should he be approached over the position.

The 53-year-old told The Sun: "Would I consider going back? I've always said that if I would want an exciting challenge and one which makes me I feel I can get my teeth into something interesting.

"I want go to somewhere which excites me and makes me feel it is the right thing to do. So Who knows? I am open-minded to many jobs."

Frank de Boer - who left Ajax earlier this week - is currently the favourite with most bookmakers.
