Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford calls on his side to finish the Premier League season strongly after a testing top-flight campaign for the Merseyside club.

Everton stopper Jordan Pickford has backed his squad to produce some strong away form heading into the end of the Premier League season, starting with a win over Swansea City at the weekend.

The Toffees have endured a season of testing peaks and troughs, but a strong finish to the club's campaign could see Everton gain the slimmest of outside chances to finish in a Europa League spot should other results go their way.

"We are coming off a good result on Saturday and our away form has picked up recently so we have got to go and get as many wins as we can in the last five games," Pickford told the club's official television channel.

"They are all winnable games, so why not go and win five. It will be a tough test because Swansea are struggling down there and will be fighting for their lives, so we have to make sure we are ready to come through it.

"We just need to do what we can do and, hopefully, that is enough to beat Swansea. We have enough ability throughout the squad to get the win."

Everton currently hold ninth spot in the league standings, eight adrift of seventh -placed Burnley. who also have a game in hand over the Toffees.
