Ross Barkley is "gutted" to be missing Everton's opening game of the Premier League season against Leicester City today.
The 20-year-old picked up a leg injury in training on Friday and left the club's training ground wearing a brace.
The England international reportedly faces a six week layoff, though his focus today is on the KP Stadium.
Gutted to be injured and not be part of today's first game of the season but hope the lads get the 3 points #coyb
