Everton winger Bernard rubbishes speculation that he has been offered to Serie A side Roma following a fallout with Toffees boss Carlo Ancelotti.

Everton winger Bernard has rubbished speculation that he could be set to leave the club and join Serie A outfit Roma.

Reports in Italy last week suggested that the diminutive 27-year-old had fallen out with manager Carlo Ancelotti and has subsequently been offered to Roma.

Everton were thought to be asking for a fee of around £17.5m for Bernard, but the player himself has now hit out at the rumours.

Addressing the reports on Instagram, Bernard wrote: "This is a lie."

The Brazilian has made 22 appearances for Everton across all competitions this season, scoring three goals and assisting two more.
