Besiktas reportedly increase their asking price for striker Cenk Tosun, who has been linked with a January move to Everton.

Besiktas have reportedly upped their asking price for Everton target Cenk Tosun to around £30m.

The Toffees were understood to be closing in on a deal for the in-demand striker earlier this week, with director of football Steve Walsh flying out to Istanbul to discuss terms with the Turkish outfit.

However, the high level of interest in Tosun has led Besiktas to tell Everton that it will now take more than their £25m offer to prise him away from the club, according to the Liverpool Echo.

The likes of Roma, Valencia and RB Leipzig are also understood to be in the race for the Turkey international, but Everton are still considered frontrunners for his signature.

Tosun has scored 14 goals for Besiktas across all competitions this season, including eight in the Super Lig and four in the Champions League.
