Brentford extend Chris Long loan

Everton striker Chris Long extends his loan deal with Brentford until May 2.

Brentford have extended the loan deal of Everton striker Chris Long until May 2.

The 20-year-old has scored four goals in 10 games for the Championship club since arriving at Griffin Park in January.

His temporary stay could be extended further if Brentford reach the playoffs.

"Chris is a very talented player and one we very much look forward to welcoming back to the club for the remainder of the season," manager Mark Warburton told the club's official website.

Brentford are currently in seventh place in the table, three points adrift of the playoff positions.
