Neil Lennon: 'Bolton Wanderers could have beaten Brentford'

Neil Lennon claims that Bolton could have beaten Brentford following their 2-2 Championship draw.

Neil Lennon was pleased with Bolton Wanderers' 2-2 Championship draw against Brentford despite believing that his team could have won the game.

Bolton twice came from behind against the playoff hopefuls, and Lennon feels that they could have been leading after the first half.

"It was a good game and I was pleased with the point but felt we could have won it. We had the better chances in the first half and looked a threat all day," he is quoted by Sky Sports News as saying.

"I have to commend Mark Warburton for the way his side plays the game but we knew we could have a big say on the promotion playoffs contenders."

The point sees Bolton stay 17th in the Championship table.
