Everton manager Roberto Martinez has confirmed that he has received enquiries for striker Samuel Eto'o.
The Spaniard left him out of the Toffees' FA Cup defeat at West Ham United on Tuesday amid speculation that the 33-year-old is Sampdoria-bound this winter.
The player's agent recently revealed that the Serie A club were interested, but Martinez has said that they are not his only suitors.
"A couple of clubs have contacted us in last 12 hours about signing Eto'o," he told Sky Sports News. "He will continue to train with us. He hasn't asked to leave.
"We have to sit down and discuss what to do. I decided it was best he wasn't involved tonight."
The former Cameroon hitman, who has 18 months to run on his contract, has netted four times from his 20 appearances in all competitions this season.
