Report: Everton target Andre Gomes, Fernando

Everton are reportedly interested in signing Porto midfielder Fernando and Benfica's Andre Gomes during the summer transfer window.

Everton have been linked to Portuguese-based duo Fernando and Andre Gomes during this summer's transfer window.

According to the Daily Star, the Toffees have renewed their interest in the Porto midfielder, having reportedly been close to agreeing a deal with him last season.

Scouts from the club have also been spotted at Benfica, where they are said to have been monitoring Gomes, who made his debut for the Portuguese national side last February.

Everton have already lost three players since the end of the Premier League season last weekend, with Romelu Lukaku, Gerard Deulofeu and Gareth Barry all returning to their parent clubs.
