Sunderland goalkeeper Jordan Pickford, who was called up to the England senior squad last week, is reportedly a target for Ronald Koeman at Everton.

Everton manager Ronald Koeman has reportedly targeted a January move for Sunderland goalkeeper Jordan Pickford.

The Black Cats stopper, who was drafted into England's senior squad for the qualifier against Slovenia last week, is also said to have been tracked by Manchester United in recent weeks.

According to The Sun, it is Everton who currently lead the way to sign Pickford from Sunderland as Koeman looks to bring a younger keeper to the club to rival 34-year-old Maarten Stekelenburg.

However, a separate report in The Mirror suggests that Sunderland are on the verge of offering their academy product a huge pay rise to fend off interest from other clubs, with the guarantee of regular football likely to be a key factor in any decision - something his current side can offer him.

Pickford, who was given his chance in the absence of Vito Mannone earlier this season, has spent five years in Sunderland's senior ranks.
