There were more developments around the world.

The fallout from the coronavirus pandemic continued on Friday.

Here, the PA news agency recaps the day’s biggest developments.

0945 – The Hungarian government announced a ban on mass gatherings until mid-August, meaning the Hungarian Grand Prix – scheduled for August 2 – must be held behind closed doors, if it takes place at all.

1335 – Bradford revealed they have been told of the growing likelihood that supporters will not be able to attend their games until 2021.

1604 – The Premier League released a statement saying clubs remained committed to finishing the 2019-20 season, following a shareholders’ meeting.

1753 – The England and Wales Cricket Board announced the hiatus of all forms of recreational cricket will remain in place until further notice.

1905 – Bundesliga side Cologne confirmed three members of staff have contracted Covid-19 and are now in quarantine. Group training will continue at the club.

1942 – Inter Milan announced that players could begin to use outdoor team training fields for individual voluntary workouts.
